Panemunė Castle | year 1604

found on a coast of Nemunas,
Panemunė Castle now belongs to Vilnius Academy of Arts.
it has a wild park over 15 ha size,
5 ponds, 1 chapel, 1 protected oak of Gelgaudai.
initially, the Castle was built as a manor.
*now it holds beautiful, constantly updated art exhibitions;
*the big tower has very steep stairs. unfortunately, once you climb them up, a decent view is missing.
*the Castle has a restaurant, conference halls and a hotel.
